The Tango Improvers course is designed to deepen your knowledge of tango technique.
This class is for you if you have completed Tango Fundamentals 2, or if you already know the basic movement patterns of tango.
To join Tango Improvers you need to be confident walking with a partner in open embrace, be able to lead or follow the ocho and the giro and know how to walk in cross system. If you're unsure, check out Which course is right for me?
In this class we introduce more complex steps and step combinations while continuing to improve technique and connection. We work in open and close embrace.
At Improver level we teach 18 weeks of classes in 6 week blocks. You can join at the start of any 6 week block.

FAQs
Is this the right course for me?
This course is designed for people who know the basics of tango, but who are not yet dancing socially. Take a look at Which course is right for me? to see exactly what we teach in the Improvers class. If you are already dancing socially you may prefer to join our Intermediate classes.
What shall I wear?
Anything you feel comfortable in and can move in. There's no need to dress any particular way.
What shoes shall I wear?
If you have them, wear shoes that you can pivot in - i.e., shoes that don't grip to a wooden floor. Leather soled shoes are ideal. For more information about shoes take a look at this blog post: What shoes should I get for tango?
I booked with a partner, do I need to change partners during the class?
We invite couples to change partners often during the class, but you are more than welcome to stay with the partner you booked with for the whole class.
Is there parking at the venue?
There is plenty of on-street car parking on St Paul's Road and Glisson Road.
There are lots of cycle racks by the church entrance.
